Become an international sports business professional
Objectives
In response to the growing demand from the sports business market for trained high-level managers with an international profile, particularly in anticipation of the organization of major world sporing events in France (Rugby World Cup "France 2023", Olympic Games "Paris 2024"), Sports Management School offers an MSc program in English and with an international vocation, in conjunction with the expertise of EDC Paris Business School.
The program, which combines the academic rigor of a business school with the professional expertise of SMS in the Sports industry, offers students the opportunity to exchange with other students of the campuses of the group worldwide in order to acquire multicultural expertise and experience regarding the challenges of the sector.
- To train tomorrow's managers with a global and operational vision of the sports business sector
- To develop a diverse knowledge of the sports sector (sports marketing, sponsoring, etc.)
- To train managers with the ability to have a global vision in order to anticipate and implement changes
- To provide future sports business managers and leaders with the best strategic thinking skills
The courses are given in person and in English.
Prerequisites
- French or foreign students with a French Baccalaureate +3/+4 level pursuing their studies and wishing to embark on a career in the sports business sector
- Post-graduate students who want to become experts in sports business
- High level athletes or professionals in the world of sport in professional transition

David Mignot
Directeur Académique Sports Management School

David Mignot est professeur à la Sports Management School depuis 2012 et le directeur pédagogique des bachelors depuis 2016.
Après un cursus pour devenir professeur d’EPS, David a suivi le Master en marketing sportif international de l’ESSEC.
Il a par ailleurs publié une thèse avec comme thème : comment la France doit-elle se positionner et s’organiser pour accueillir les grands événements sportifs internationaux
Il a ensuite travaillé pendant 17 ans au sein de plusieurs agences de marketing sportif pour gérer des marques comme SFR, GMF, TOTAL, Grenoble 2018, …
David a fondé “Iphitos” (sports marketing agency) en 2011 avec comme objectif de conseiller les marques et produire ses propres événements. Quelques clients : GMF, La Poste, Essity, Fédération des Clubs de la Défense, AFM Téléthon, Relais et Chateaux, Stade Français Rugby, Lagardère Active …
Joelle Monlouis
Avocate en droit du sport & des affaires

Inscrite au Barreau de Paris en 2007, Maître Joëlle Monlouis exerce le métier d’avocate depuis plus de dix ans.
Joëlle Monlouis a d'abord été juriste financier dans une grande banque internationale, ensuite elle a évolué auprès du Parquet de la Chambre Commerciale, Financière et Économique de la Cour de Cassation, et a rejoint dans la foulée, un cabinet américain spécialisé dans le droit des affaires internationales dans lequel elle était en charge d'opérations de fusion-acquisition et de problématiques liées au droit des sociétés.
Pratiquante et passionnée de sport, elle s’est spécialisée dans le domaine du droit du Sport et intervient tant en Europe qu'à l'International et elle est tout particulièrement sensible aux besoins, dans ce domaine, des acteurs Institutionnels et économiques du Sport dans les départements, territoires et collectivités territoriales d'Outre-Mer et en Afrique francophone.
Jean-Claude VIDAL
Fondateur et PDG de ARENE EVENEMENTS depuis 1998

Après 15 ans de carrière ,en France et à l’étranger dans un grand groupe pétrolier français dans des fonctions marketing, commercé et communication, JC Vidal a créé sa première structure en 1991 puis Arène Évènements en 1998.
Le projet d’Arène Evènements est de permettre aux entreprises de mettre à profit le succès du sport dans leur stratégie de communication et aux sites évènementiels de se lier avec des sponsors qui enrichissent leur spectacle.
Benjamin JEANDON
Responsable Communication RMC Sport / SFR

Après un cursus en Ecole de Commerce à Euromed Marseille, je suis très rapidement rentré dans la vie active en occupant le poste de Chef de Projet Evénementiel chez Hyundai puis GL events (dédié à McDonald’s France). J’ai à la suite occupé le poste de Responsable Marketing Evénementiel chez Kia pour ensuite créer une auto-entreprise dans l’événementiel. Je suis depuis 1 an Responsable Communication chez RMC Sport.

Admissions Modalities
- 1st year : holder of French Baccalaureate level degree + a 3-year degree (180 ECTS credits)
- 2nd year : holder of French Baccalaureate level degree + a 4-year degree (240 ECTS credits)
- Special cases : have a French Baccalaureate level degree + a 3-year degree (subject to certain conditions) and professionals wishing to specialize in sports management
Admission based on an application file and a motivation interview.
Tuition fees, School year 2024

- €16,400 for a start in the 2nd year
