Become an expert in the world of sports media
Objectives
Our MBA Media and Digital will enable you to acquire all the skills needed to understand the sports media environment, from their digitalization to content creation, including the job of sports journalist or commentator.
The courses are given in French. It is possible to do the first year 100% in English.
This program delivers the Sales and Marketing Manager, registered in the RNCP (code 35208) by decree of 20/01/2021, NSF code 312m 312, et 312p - professional certification level 7, issued by EDUCSUP. The granting of the RNCP title is the responsibility of the certifier and is subject to a specific procedure.
Prerequisites
- Students with a bachelor's degree and wishing to pursue a career in the sports business
- Students who have already graduated and want to become experts in sports media
- Professionals in the world of sports wishing to retrain
Strenghts of the training
- Updated training to respond to changes in the business
- Work-study class (1 day in class per week)
- Apprenticeship contract or professionalization contract
- Initial course with alternating internship
- One week seminar on one of the 4 campuses abroad every year (Lausanne, Barcelona, Rabat or Cairo). Two other campuses in Rome and Miami are scheduled to open.

Composed of fundamental and specific courses, our MBA is structured around three main areas - rights management and production of sports content, sports programming, commentary basics, data... The training is perfectly adapted to the evolution of sports and media consumption.
The courses are followed in alternation (apprenticeship contract or professionalization contract) or in alternating internship. The weekly alternation rhythm is 4 days of apprenticeship in a company and 1 day of training at the school.
For students with disabilities : we implement the necessary adjustments to your situation in the organization, progress and support of your studies.

Michael Tapiro
Président du conseil stratégique international

Entrepreneur et sportif dans l’âme, Michael a commencé avec un parcours sportif et ai fondé le Club de Neuilly sur Seine : « Rugby Club Paris Neuilly » pour ensuite créer en 1999 l’agence Au-delà du sport avec Christophe Juillet et Marc Lièvremont, spécialisée dans la relation sport et management en entreprise.
En parallèle, il a été professeur en marketing depuis 15 ans.
Pendant toutes ces années, cet entrepreneur dans l’âme souhaitait lancer sa propre école. C’est ce parcours qui l’a conduit à créer Sports Management School (SMS), une école de commerce spécialisée dans le Sport Business. SMS couvre une large variété de secteurs d’activité tels que le management du sport, l’optimisation des structures sportives, le développement des nouveaux médias, le e-sport, les paris sportifs…
David Mignot
Directeur Académique Sports Management School

David Mignot est professeur à la Sports Management School depuis 2012 et le directeur pédagogique des bachelors depuis 2016.
Après un cursus pour devenir professeur d’EPS, David a suivi le Master en marketing sportif international de l’ESSEC.
Il a par ailleurs publié une thèse avec comme thème : comment la France doit-elle se positionner et s’organiser pour accueillir les grands événements sportifs internationaux
Il a ensuite travaillé pendant 17 ans au sein de plusieurs agences de marketing sportif pour gérer des marques comme SFR, GMF, TOTAL, Grenoble 2018, …
David a fondé “Iphitos” (sports marketing agency) en 2011 avec comme objectif de conseiller les marques et produire ses propres événements. Quelques clients : GMF, La Poste, Essity, Fédération des Clubs de la Défense, AFM Téléthon, Relais et Chateaux, Stade Français Rugby, Lagardère Active …

Conditions of admission
- 1st year : students having a BAC+3 diploma
